The role:The Senior Business Operations Analyst will be an integral member of both the Analytics and Ops teams. They will provide research, reporting, and modeling to develop and interpret information to drive operational choices, policy/procedure formation, growth management, and other managerial functions. In addition to sound analytical skills, this person will need exceptional communication skills and relationship skills in order to turn ideas into reality.What you'll do:Develop and interpret information that assists management with conclusions, policy formulation, management of growth projections, and other managerial functionsAnalyze data from various sources to compile a comprehensive picture of the overall business operational performance using visualization toolsDevelop periodic reports on a wide range of strategic and tactical researchDevelop recommendations and prepare written and oral presentations to senior managementEnsure adequacy and accuracy of reporting by applying business knowledge and data investigationDefine specifications for reporting and partner with the Engineering team to develop or improve performance-measuring capabilitiesDevelop performance measurements and analytical tools to improve operationsProject leadership and involvementWhat you'll need:2-5 years' experience in an operational analyst position or equivalentBA/BS Degree requiredDemonstrated Leadership skillsExcellent data & root cause researchExperience with Tableau or similar data visualization toolProficient with SQLAbility to provide clear and concise feedbackMust have stellar written, oral, and visual communication skills for executive-level communicationsAbility to work in a very fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environmentAbility to meet deliverables under tight deadlinesHigh attention to detailProven experience analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing complex data as it relates to financial servicesExperience preparing and presenting reports, forecasts, trends, and recommendations to the team and senior managementNice to have:Experience with financial regulatory dataExperience with financial services analyticsPython skills are a plusSome statistical modeling and research design experienceCompensation and BenefitsThe base pay range for this role is listed below.
