Responsibilities
Oversee month-end transactions and the month-end close process
Report revenue and reconcile balance sheets, credit cards, and banks by the 8th business dayReview P&L vs. prior months and budget by the 8th business dayEnsure all accruals are in each monthOversee GL coding on all transactions
Manage company payroll
Complete bi-weekly payroll and prepare payroll journal entries and month-end accrualsMaintain accrued PTO detail file and handle HR ADP processesOversee W-2 process and respond to unemployment claims and employment verification requests
Daily cash reconciliationManage revenue/accounts receivable
Enter revenue, balance AR, and evaluate reserve for bad debt
Review accounts payable entries to ensure correct account distribution and reconcile A/P at month-endAssist with budgeting and re-budget initiatives
Prepare annual and quarterly budgetsAnalyze monthly results against budget
Assist with annual financial auditQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field3+ years of accounting experienceStrong understanding of AP, inventory, and operational processesHigh attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsProficient in accounting software and MS Office SuiteAbility to commute to Miami and occasionally to MiramarStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits
