As the Crestron Programmer/ Technician, the individual is responsible for ensuring that the ITD projects and classroom set up are functional from a network and programming standpoint. As part of this AV/VTC team, you will serve as the Crestron SME which entails control system designer & programmer for audio video and VTC presentation. This role requires programing, configuring, and commissioning audio and video equipment as well as assist with setup, install, program, and troubleshoot audio visual equipment. In this role, the Programmer may also participate in design review and change process discussions with government and/or customer and other team members.

Additionally, the Crestron Programmer should ensure that scope of work and customer needs are met by the designed system. Higher level programming and on-hands support will be required in this role.

Responsibilities

Performs as the sole Crestron control system designer and programmer for audiovisual and VTC presentation control systems in complex multi-security level environmentsParticipates in audiovisual and VTC design team efforts developing conference room renovation plans and new room designs.Programs, configures, and commissions audio and video matrix mixer systemsConfigure audio DSPs for system installation.Configure CODECs and VTC devices during system installationsPerforms control system loading and testing for all AV system installationsRack construction, pulling cable, and preparing equipment for installationInstallation of completed racks, projectors, monitors, and related sub-mountsAssists with testing of system components to assure system completenessServes as the primary system commissioner and performs all acceptance testing on all AV installation efforts.Maintains a control program and configuration files database for all conference rooms and AV systemsAssists with generating and the ordering of A/V equipment and materialsParticipate in design review and change process discussions with Government program officials and customersDevelopment, creation, and updating of conference room user operation manuals and quick reference guides for all AV installationsAssists other team members as required to provide the customer with the superior level of supportMakes recommendations for improvements and upgrades to the GovernmentPerforms other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting officeRequired Qualifications/Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalentMust have and maintain Security+ certificationCreston Engineer or Programmer CertificationMust have and maintain Secret Clearance or higher clearanceCandidate must be able and willing to provide world class customer serviceThree (3) years' experience in AV and Control System design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshootingAbility to create, load and modify Crestron codeAbility to develop graphics and user interface for Crestron systemsUnderstanding of electronic system architecture and design.Experience in installing and/or configuring Polycom and/or Cisco videoconferencing products and in configuring audio DSP's.Strong analytical reasoning skills.Advanced troubleshooting skillsMust be a team player willing to assist other team members as necessary to satisfy customer requirements in a timely manner.Must be able to work in a dynamic environment under potentially stressful situations while remaining calm.Must be able to accommodate a flexible and varied work schedule to include early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.Candidate must have highly effective communication skills both oral and writtenCandidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearanceSignificant experience programming Crestron audiovisual and VTC presentation control systems in complex multi-security level environmentsExperience designing audiovisual and VTC presentation control systems in complex multi-security level environments.Experience integrating Cisco and Polycom VTC systems in complex multi-security level environments.Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or EngineeringExperience with AMX systems and programming
