Customs Specialist

Worldwide Logistics Inc. is looking for an Import Customs Logistics professional or Customs Entry Writer. In this position you will work within our Customs Brokerage Department to make each US import shipment or entry a success.Responsibilities:File Importer Security Filing (ISF)File Customs EntryDaily tracking and tracing of customer shipmentsCommunicating with ocean / air carriers, truckers, warehouses for arranging shipments and follow up on shipment updatesAccurate and complete documentation preparationCompliance with timeliness of Customs entry and ISF Filings and other Customs regulationsMaintain thorough communication with client and overseas offices throughout shipment processArranging payments to vendors for services renderedUtilizing Customs Brokerage management software for filing and document generationMaintaining reports online or in Excel if required by the accountWorking in conjunction with other staff to complete required import serviceComplete accurate profit and loss analysis for each shipmentRequirements:Strong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication with teammates, supervisor and clientsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyAptitude to work independently on daily tasksCapacity to critically analyze a problem and generate possible solutions independently and cooperativelyPreferred SkillsAt least 1 year at US Customs BrokerageExperience as customs broker entry writerExperience with Customs or ISF filingsFamiliar with US importsFamiliar with Customs Requirements of Partner Government AgenciesWhat youll get in return:Competitive base salaryMedical, dental and vision insurance for employees401K Program to help you invest into your futureFlexible vacation time to promote a healthy work-life balance
