Work location is subject to change based on business needs.Summary of the Job:The Director, Consumer Credit Risk is accountable for managing the credit risk performance of their assigned portfolios. This includes leading the design, development, implementation, and validation of credit policies and strategies. This role is responsible for optimizing portfolio credit risk and profitability and ensuring strategies support defined credit risk appetite, and could serve as a liaison between the business units and either regulators or vendors.About This Role:Manage credit losses of assigned portfoliosIndependently initiate, conduct and manage complex credit risk projects, including project design, data collection, analysis, summarization, presentation of results and recommendations, and implementation supportCollaborate with credit management and other business functions to ensure the bank meets customer needs.Monitor and evaluate performance of existing credit risk strategies and develop new strategies by analyzing and evaluating data and utilizing various statistical and analytical techniques and toolsLead or manage the implementation of new and modified strategiesThe Ideal Candidate for This Role:Knowledge & SkillsKnowledge of consumer and/or small business creditAbility to work with data to identify complex business trends and propose solutionsAbility to build consensus and influence the organization in order to achieve business goalsDemonstrated creative approach to problem solvingEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree7+ years of experience in a highly analytical business function to include coding and working with large data setsCompensation:Compensation range (base pay): $93,977.00-$159,762.00Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.Benefits Overview:We offer a variety of benefits designed to keep you and your family physically and financially healthy.
