Why do we need you?
Sales Enablement & Operations is primarily responsible for managing successful sales efforts, client engagement and work in collaboration with sales to develop sales forecasts, revenue targets, and monitor sales performance metrics, and analyze data to identify areas of improvement.
Working with an understanding of strategic clients’ business and ensuring campaign strategies and tactics deliver on the clients’ needs. The successful candidate will be comfortable bridging our Retail partners’ business needs to deliver a comprehensive solution strategy to brand clients, as well as revenue generation opportunities through Solutions that will span the retailer offering included (but not limited to); retail media, loyalty programs, shopper marketing initiatives, research efforts, test-and-learn, etc.
What will you do?
Help drive demand for retailer media, developing a strategic approach, execute and report on campaigns that work across the retailer ecosystem
Supporting sales with positioning, messaging and materials
Develop data-driven insights and solution recommendations
Responsible for maintaining the day to day client relationship and communication on existing engagements
Use analytics to build and optimize our sales efforts
Become the subject matter expert (SME) for the Retailer Media offerings
Build proactive solutions to renew and upsell solutions
Develop sales materials and support to help drive new business and revenue in addition to Walmart Connect Canada, and other assigned retailers
Oversee processes, tools, and strategies to support maximizing sales inclusive of, but not limited to, pipeline management, sales forecasting (by sales lead, by product, by timeframe [monthly, quarterly, annual], monitor closing ratios) and building a scientific approach to delivering revenue goals by leveraging available data and tools.
Work with Walmart Connect finance/business operations to manage client discounts/advertiser tier benefits and any promotional offers across enterprise tentpole initiatives as well as single-advertiser programs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
Define, establish, and implement processes for enterprise tentpole marketing initiatives to ensure ways of working have been properly identified and established across sales, business operations, and product to deliver on identified business and revenue goals.
Actively manage resource requests and workforce planning for sales organization. Oversee implementation and integration of new emerging tools and/or technologies that will enable Walmart Connect sales team to work effectively and efficiently.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize sales operations, improve productivity and enhance revenue generation.
Ensure compliance with Walmart Connect guardrails (set by business operations), procedures, manage sales related exceptions impacting margin/profitability/partnership tier-benefits.
Provide sales operations inputs for JBPs, QBRs, and lead development of account planning processes.
Manage strategies towards increasing GMV penetration for business growth across all categories.
