Salary Range/Pay Rate:

$90,725 - $100,000 annually.

Position InformationMinimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

A minimum of four (4) years’ progressively responsible experience in development and fundraising, preferably with several years of experience in a collegiate/university setting.

Demonstrated success in obtaining gifts of $25,000 and above.

Experience working with fundraising volunteers.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with others.

Ability to interact effectively with high capacity donors and prospects, corporate executives, and foundation officers.

Thorough knowledge of the major gifts fundraising process and an understanding of planned giving.

Knowledge of the computer and databases and their application to development and fundraising activities.

Desired Qualifications:

Master’s degree.

Certified Fund Raising Executive and campaign experience preferred.

Position Purpose:

Responsibility for the COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCES. Reports to the Senior Director of Philanthropy, College of Arts and Sciences but works cooperatively with the Associate Vice President of Philanthropy, the Dean of the School COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCES, SENIOR DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCES, and school-based development officers as well as centralized fundraisers, annual giving, and stewardship. Manages the fundraising process for an assigned portfolio of prospects and donors and conducts activities leading to gifts of $25,000 and above for identified goals and programs. Portfolio will be adjusted based on strategic direction focusing on the hard sciences (i.e. biology, mathematics, etc.).
