Hiring Supervisor:

Hiring Range (Contingent upon available funding): 78,000.00 - 108,000.00, Salary

Work Schedule: 8-5, M-F. Evenings/weekends as needed.

Job Summary:

The Director of HR Technology provides leadership and oversight for the strategic alignment of Human Resource Technology (which includes human resources information systems, applicant and on-boarding systems, and service delivery). This position is responsible for the coordination, direction and supervision of daily activities that lead the implementation, communication, administration of the organization's Banner HRIS, project planning and implementation and vendor/contract negotiations and management. In addition, the position directs the security and access to HR central data.

What You'll Be Doing:

Own HR systems integration and automation projects to help us scale and improve our talent infrastructure.

Create national and local processes, policies, and workflows that cater to business needs and help us achieve operational excellence.

Build intelligence and insights from our people data. Prepare dashboards for the leadership teams and stakeholders through leveraging relationships with other areas of campus who have developed this expertise.

Drive the systems roadmap to increase the rigor of our operations and reporting.

Partner with local HR teams on creating / customizing / implementing policies and procedures.

Manage compliance tracking and reporting as directed by the business.

Prepare for and execute system updates, rolling out new features and functionality to optimize performance and usability.

Lead efforts for documentation of processes and increasing efficiencies, reliability and accuracy of these processes.

Education & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in related field;

5 years of HR technology and/or operations experience. Experience administering and implementing modern HRIS systems, compliance platforms, and data reporting platforms. Expertise in people analytics and data reporting. Strong project management experience with ability to partner across functional teams. Strong analytical abilities to solve complex problems and automate reporting and analysis, all while maintaining strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to coordinate and project manage complex cross-functional initiatives. Must demonstrate ability to communicate well with all university personnel as well as technical experts. Knowledge of HR/Benefits/Payroll compliance regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in Banner HR/Payroll ERP, programming languages and/or reporting tools such as COGNOS / SQL.
