A day in the life of a Regional Director, Church Engagement:
At Samaritan's Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.
In the role of
Regional Director, Church Engagement
you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
Serve and care for Key Church Partners by providing timely and personal acknowledgment of all significant giving, and give personalized reports showing the impact of their key partnership giving and why it matters
Minister to key churches by connecting on a spiritual level; encouraging their walk with the Lord, praying with and for them, and incorporating principles of Biblical stewardship
Personally represent the ministry to current and prospective key church partners
Communicate the mission, scope, and program strategies of Samaritan's Purse, plus the impact of all areas of ministry throughout the world
Promote what is being accomplished as a testimony to God's provision
Find and connect with the right key churches by discovering who they are and what they care about
Maintain, grow, and develop current key church partners as well as foster new strategic church and denominational partnerships that increase project awareness and participation
Invite key church partners into deep and meaningful partnership opportunities that align their ministry passions with the mission and programs of Samaritans Purse
Seek opportunities for partnerships that utilize key churches influence, time, and talent
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelors degree and one (1) to three (3) years of donor development experience in major gifts; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies strongly preferred. 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete the requirement is available upon hire
