Under guidance and direction from the Plant Operational Excellence Manager, the Operational Excellence Coordinator will:

Create operational standards for the Willard Main Plant and Flex Center to include Standard Work Instructions, One Point Lessons, Training Documentation Slides Partner with operators to create and improve equipment standards - Centerlines, Operator Asset Care / Clean, Inspect, Lube (CIL) Lead and coach problem solving efforts within the department. This individual will also have an indirect reporting relationship with the Plant Manager and collaborate with the plant Training Coordinator as it relates to standards development and skill development.

Under guidance and direction from the Plant Operational Excellence Manager, the Operational Excellence Leader, will be responsible for (including but not limited to) the following:Attend and support all department meetings as part of the daily direction setting process.Centerlines: Owns Centerline Management system for the line, routinely coaches operators and mechanics on the execution and adherence to this system, leads process definition to identify Centerline targets and document standards, maintains up to date targets and tracks / checks compliance to standards.Operator Asset Care (OAC) / Clean, Inspect, Lube (CIL): Develops standards as necessary, seeks improvement to these standards based on existing losses within the organization (equipment stops, unplanned downtime, quality defects, etc).Problem solving: Participates in problem solving sessions to develop subject matter expertise in the process until ready to lead the process within the organizations; Leads continuous improvement problem solving approach and trigger system to start the problem-solving cycle.Perform Root Cause Analysis on safety, quality, and major losses / chronic losses as necessary.Uses Plan-Do-Check-Act thought process to analyze line data to identify and prioritize loss elimination opportunities through the Daily Direction Setting cycle.Training / Capability: Develops standard work instructions as necessary and leverages to improve overall organizational skill and capability - any task, any time.Executes regular Behavioral Safety Observations and Behavioral Quality Observations, providing on the spot reinforcing and constructive feedback, and reports results back to the team.Work with leadership in the development and execution of mid-range plans (90-day plan) and daily action plan / loss elimination activities through DDS.A small percentage of travel may be required to attend outside meetings, conferences and to visit operating plants as required - less than 5% of total time.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$54,450.00 - $87,660.00

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
