We are looking for Experienced Claims Processors to join our rapidly growing team in Tampa. Experience is required for this position.
This is a fully remote position.
In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing medical claims in compliance with payer requirements and internal policies.
Senior Level & Claims Processor responsibilities with the addition of the below:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, payer policies, and regulatory requirements related to claims processing.Perform claims audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.Assist in the development and implementation of claims processing procedures and workflows.Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.Provide backup support and cross-training to other team members as needed.Train new claims processors on systems and processesCoding Specialist - Develop expertise in medical classification codesConsistent production & quality >95%Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
Preference for minimum of two-year experience working closely with healthcare claims or in a claims processing/adjudication environmentTechnical Skills / Qualifications:
Understanding of health claims processing/adjudicationAbility to perform basic to intermediate mathematical computation routinesMedical terminology strongly preferredUnderstanding of ICD-9 & ICD-10Basic MS office computer skillsAbility to work independently or within a teamTime management skillsWritten and verbal communication skillsAttention to detailMust be able to demonstrate sound decision-making skillsSalary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour based on experience.
