Staff Accountant

Job descriptionJob OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the financial management of our company, providing critical support to a wide variety of accounting functions. This position offers the opportunity to develop and expand your accounting skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.Responsibilities- Bank reports to AR team- Manage cash balances and forward cash reports- Bank receivables- Update prepaid schedules and book journal entries- Update notes payable schedule and recurring AP batches- Monthly accruals- Inter-Company receivables- Accounts Payable receivables to General Ledger- Flux analysis and month-end adjustments- Review and update all assets and liabilities schedules- Misc tax filings- Assist with financial auditRequirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field- 2-4 years of progressive and relevant accounting experience- Proficiency with accounting software - Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus- Strong understanding of financial concepts and financial management- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines- Strong organizational and communication skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
