CONSTITUENT SERVICES AIDE, DISTRICT 13

Baltimore City Council

The Office of Councilman Antonio Glover seeks to fill the Constituent Services Aide role on our dynamic team. The Constituent Services Aide will problem-solve with constituents, forge relationships with communities of the 13th District, and carry out community-oriented events and special projects.

SALARY: $50,053.00 - $59,740.00

Work Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm

TYPICAL EXAMPLES OF THE WORK

The position may require related duties not listed, if necessary, to accomplish the work of the agency.)Collaborate with constituents and City agencies to solve pressing issues in the district.Provide customer service to constituents seeking assistance via phone and email, logging data at every step.Communicate information and service requests to relevant public agencies, update constituents, and provide consistent follow-up to ensure task completion.Build authentic relationships with district residents, agencies, and partners to share information and plan collaborative community events.Attend community/neighborhood association meetings and local eventsOrganize with residents on a large issues, projects, and event ideas; and conduct outreach to expand pool of engaged residents.Actively engage with the team to study, strategize and share public policy ideas to strengthen the city.Participate in weekly staff meetings.Performs related work as required.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Requirements - Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a GED certificate with 1-2 years of relevant professional experience.
