to manage Core Team activities to help assure all program launch success requirements are met including safety, quality, delivery, cost and profitability goals adhering to Methode' s Product Development and Program Launch System (PDPLS).
Methode is seeking to prepare and develop high-potential candidates for a career in automotive product launch. You'll start with a thorough onboarding experience before embarking on significant work to launch new programs while discovering your strengths and passions. Throughout this journey, you'll receive mentorship, career development, and regularly engage with your leader to ensure your growing expertise aligns with the skills required to advance your launch management career.

Responsibilities:
Lead assigned core team activities, establishing priorities when conflicts ariseEscalate concerns to management in a timely fashion for resolution supportManage the program proactively to ensure timing and objectives are met for all customer milestonesIdentify and communicate impediments to the successful completion of program milestonesInterface with required functional disciplines and departments for program supportEnsure adherence to the (PDPLS) and assures completion of all deliverablesAssists with phase and gate reviewsSupport master program timing that satisfies customer and internal requirements for product deliverables, cost performance and timingFacilitate interaction between the company, our customer and plantCoordinates and maintains communications with our design and operations staff and our customer for all program activitiesEscalate risks of any nonconformities relating to the product, process, and system to drive actions for resolutionIdentify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality systemInitiate, recommend and provide solutions through designated channelsVerify the implementation of change and follow processes for documenting changesOther duties as assignedQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science required3+ years of project management, program management, or other related experiencePrior experience with automotive products, processes, and environment, particularly lighting (exterior/interior), electronics, injection molding, and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)Ability to interface and effectively communicate with customers and the Methode core team at all levelsProficiency in structured problem-solving.Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (intermediate level or higher)Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get resultsAbility to travel up to 30% both domestic and internationalAbility to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
