Job Goal:

The Senior Specialist - Multimedia is a dynamic and multifaceted role responsible for the comprehensive management of Region 4 ESC's digital presence. This includes maintaining and enhancing Region 4's website and intranet, producing high-quality video content, and capturing professional-grade photographs. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, creative vision, and strategic thinking to effectively communicate Region 4's mission and initiatives through various digital media platforms. This role is crucial in ensuring that all visual and digital content is engaging, consistent with our organization's brand, and accessible to a diverse audience. Additionally, the Senior Specialist - Multimedia will work collaboratively with different departments to support their digital media needs, contribute to marketing strategies, and enhance the overall user experience across all digital touchpoints.

Qualifications:

Education:Associate's degree in digital media, graphic design, communications, marketing, or a related field

Experience:Ten years of related work experience in the area of digital media, graphic design, communications, or marketingDemonstrated track record of successful work products/deliverables in the area of digital media, graphic design, website development, photography, and/or videographyThree years of professional experience in website and intranet management, video production, and photographySpecial Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects, priorities, and meet deadlines, with attention to detailAbility to research online and synthesize information for use in digital media, graphic design, website development, photography, videography, communications, and marketing effortsProficiency in a variety of software programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, and Microsoft SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web content management systems (CMS)Strong knowledge of SEO principles and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)Expertise in video production and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)Proficiency in photography and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom)Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and a creative eye for visual contentPreferred:

Webmaster Duties:

Manage, update, and maintain the Region 4 ESC website and intranet to ensure accuracy, functionality, and user-friendly navigation.Design and implement website and intranet layouts, graphics, and content to enhance user experience.Monitor website and intranet performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary updates and improvements.Collaborate with various departments to ensure that web and intranet content is current, relevant, and aligns with organizational goals.Implement SEO best practices to increase website visibility and traffic.Ensure the website and intranet comply with accessibility standards (WCAG) and are mobile-responsive.Video Production Duties:

Plan, script, and produce high-quality video content for Region 4 ESC, including promotional videos, training materials, event coverage, and social media content.Operate video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during video shoots.Edit video footage using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to create polished final products.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand video content needs and ensure alignment with organizational messaging and branding.Manage video projects from concept to completion, including pre-production planning, shooting, and post-production editing.Photography Duties:

Capture professional-grade photographs for Region 4 ESC events, programs, and promotional materials.Edit and retouch photos using software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.Organize and maintain a digital photo library for easy access and use by various departments.Ensure all photographs meet the highest quality standards and accurately represent the organization's image and brand.Supervisory Responsibilities:
