Job Summary: The Concrete Foreman is responsible for managing and supervising all aspects of concrete construction projects. This includes planning, coordinating, and overseeing work crews, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining quality control throughout the project. The Concrete Foreman ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget, while also maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Project Planning and Coordination:

Review project plans and blueprints to understand the scope and specifications of the job.Develop detailed work schedules and assign tasks to crew members.Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.

Supervision and Management:

Supervise and manage concrete crews, including laborers, finishers, and equipment operators.Provide guidance and instruction to crew members to ensure work is performed efficiently and to high standards.Conduct regular meetings with the crew to discuss project progress, address issues, and plan daily activities.

Quality Control and Safety:

Monitor all work to ensure it meets the project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure the integrity of concrete structures.Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment.Identify and address potential safety hazards on the job site.

Material and Equipment Management:

Order and manage materials and supplies needed for concrete work.Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.In-depth knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and equipment.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
