Convenience Transportation, LLC , a subsidiary of Kwik Trip, Inc., services our 850+ retail store locations in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and South Dakota. Within the Transportation Division, we have over 25 parking domiciles that we hire drivers between Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. Our state-of-the art fleet is equipped with ELD units for communication with all drivers and is serviced regularly by our own Truck Maintenance Shop. We are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working, and change orientated Dispatch co-worker. We are looking for a detail orientated individual that is dynamic with outside of the box thinking and working through challenging logistical/fuel directive initiatives. We are looking for someone who enjoys learning and is comfortable completing multiple tasks and operational/logistical responsibilities at once. This individual should be confident in talking on a phone and working with many different drivers on multiple different scenarios. This opportunity is at our La Crosse, WI campus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Route construction and planning fleet movementRoute assignmentCommunicate with co-workers, stores, and internal departmentsAssist drivers with questions and troubleshooting issuesOffer support to other dispatch and management team membersAssist the Distribution Division Team in projects, regulatory compliance, and other operations related mattersQualifications:
Possess at least 1-3 years of Transportation/Logistics experience or equivalent experience/educationStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to process, interpret, and communicate both verbal and written information to co-workers and customers in a professional mannerAbility to remain calm in a stressful work environmentAccurate/detail orientedStrong problem-solving skillsPrioritize/manage multiple tasksWork well alone or as part of a teamWork well with minimal supervisionPossess strong time management/organizational skillsAbility to complete basic math computationsCoordinate efforts of multiple partiesWork in a safety conscious environmentStrong ability to operate a personal computerKnowledge of Microsoft Office productsPossess strong data entry skillsExperience in an AS400 environment is a plusExperience working with GeoTab electronic logging is a plusKnowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety/DOT Regulations is a plusKnowledge of delivery equipment is a plus
Schedule:
Wednesday - Saturday: 5PM - 5AM
Pay:
$23.70 minimum starting but dependent on experience. Weekend Premium.
