Position Highlights:Location: Evanston, ILFull TimeHours: Monday-Friday, standard business hoursSign on Bonus: Potential up to $5,000What you will do:

Sponsor Guideline Review

Interpret sponsor guidelines and requirements for sponsored research applications and communicate these guidelines and requirements to PIs and study teamsApplication Coordination

Act as lead Point of Contact for grant applications for a given set of PIs or research unitsApplication Preparation

Prepares budgets and administrative components of applications for review and approval by investigator and Research Institute. Prepares application shell and coordinates the completion of various application components from the PI and research unit staff.Application Submission to Research Institute

Submits completed applications to Research Institute for review and ultimate submission to sponsor. In collaboration with investigator, responds to any inquiries or edit requests from the Office of Sponsored Programs as part of the application review process.Investigator Application Documentation Maintenance

Maintains and updates library of application submissions, as well as Other Support and biosketches on behalf of assigned research unit investigators.Progress Report Preparation and Submission

In collaboration with investigators, prepares RPPRs and other sponsor progress reports for review and submission by the Office of Sponsored ProgramsOther Duties as Assigned

Completed other duties as assigned and required.What you will need:

Education:

Bachelors Degree

Experience:

Relevant experience in pre-award management for a healthcare organization, university, academic medical center or research institution.

Unique or Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of NIH Grants Policy Statements, OMB Circular A-133, DHHS Policy, PCROI PolicyWorkday Finance or Workday Grants or other enterprise-level ERP systemBenefits:
