Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Optimization Specialist that will drive our digital marketing efforts and contribute to the overall growth of our e-commerce business! This individual will play a critical role in improving the usability, performance, and scalability of our site. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web analytics, user experience, and conversion rate optimization to drive our digital marketing efforts across the business. As a Web Optimization Specialist, you will own the processes of analyzing website performance data, implementing optimization techniques, and collaborating with various teams to ensure that our digital platforms meet and exceed industry standards.

What You’ll Do

Website Performance Analysis

Conduct regular audits of website performance, including page speed, load times, and mobile responsiveness.Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and various platforms to gather and analyze data.Identify and address issues affecting website speed, functionality, and user experience.Implement A/B testing and multivariate testing to measure the effectiveness of changes and optimizations.SEO Optimization and Content Strategy

Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankingsperformance keyword research and integrate relevant keywords into website content, meta descriptions and tagsprovide relevant recommendations for improvements to enhance visibility and user engagementstay up to date on industry trends and changes in algorithm to adapt strategies as neededUser Experience (UX) Improvement

Analyze user behavior and site interactions to identify areas for improvement and opportunityRecommend and implement design and functionality enhancements to improve user engagement and conversion ratesCollaborate with the design and development teams to improve site navigation, layout, and visual appeal overallConversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

Analyze conversion funnels and customer experience to identify potential drop-off points and optimize the checkout process overallCreate and test hypotheses to improve conversion rates and achieve higher ROI on marketing campaignsImplement and monitor tracking and measurement tools to gauge the success of optimization efforts.Reporting and Documentation

Prepare and present regular reports on website performance, SEO metrics, and optimization progressDocument optimization process and changes for future reference and knowledge sharingCross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with development, marketing and content teams to align optimization efforts with overall business goals.Provide guidance and training on best practices for web optimization to team members.Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.3+ years of proven experience as a Web Optimization Specialist or in a similar role within an e-commerce sector (required)A born problem solver who is naturally curious and thrives on finding solutions to complex challenges within an e-commerce environmentExcellent proficiency with Shopify, SEMrush, and Google Analytics. Google marketplace huge plus!Certification in Google Analytics or Google AdsProficient knowledge of UX principles and best practicesStrong attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team to get things doneExceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner, while offering suggestions for improvement
