Description

Coordinates and performs administrative, secretarial, and clerical duties for designated management, streamlining tasks to help others use their time more efficiently.

Starting pay $24.1372/hr. Pay is commensurate with experience. Provided benefits include but are not limited to; health insurance, group life insurance, wellness program, and CERS retirement through Kentucky Retirement Systems. Paid time off includes: vacation, sick time, and holidays.

Examples of Duties

Primary essential functions include but are not limited to:Manage the parking rental program

Manage the soft drink machines

Transcribe minutes for meetings, such as GIS

Run errands

Update City phone directory

Coordinate/schedule meetings and appointments

Enter check requests for the Finance and Support Services Department

Update and manage spreadsheets

Assist and support the Director, Finance and Support Services

Perform special projects as directed

Typical Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS (Required at time of application):

Associates Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or similar position,

ORMinimum 3 yrs. experience as a Secretary, Office Manager, or similar position (preferably to a top-level position).Valid Driver's License requiredEquivalent amount of education and/or experience is acceptable.
