Our client in Haines City Florida has an immediate need for a
Desktop Support Analyst.
This will start as a contract position with a strong possibility of extension and consideration for a full-time position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software.Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.Support remote users by troubleshooting connectivity and access issues.Maintain accurate records of IT assets and support requests using the ticketing system.Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective use of key systems.Work with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot complex application issues.Maintain documentation related to application configurations, processes, and user guides.Collaborate with Business Analyst and other teams to support IT-related projects.Required Skills to be considered include:
A+ or similar certification preferred.1+ years of experience in IT support, including hardware/software troubleshooting.Knowledge of MS Office 365, MS Windows Operating System, Active Directory and IOS.Experience supporting PCs and Printers in a corporate environment.Familiarity of network and server technology.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficientlyBasic NetworkingBasic knowledge of application configurationPreferred Skills include:
