A Day in the LifeIf you are passionate about the intersection of digital marketing and optimization and enjoy working on a small team where you are empowered to deliver on your vision, you’ll love this role. You will provide a distinctive level of subject matter expertise on how to architect and deliver digital marketing and data strategies that accelerate customer growth and increase customer engagement.

The successful candidate will act as the digital subject matter expert and drive digital campaigns for Medtronic Surgical, by identifying needs and new opportunities for brand exposure through global brand penetration. Qualified candidates will be fluent in today’s digital marketing ecosystem (e.g. website, emails, social media and blogs) and have the ability to build and implement digital strategies.

Responsibilities include and other duties may be assigned:

A successful candidate will not only have a vision for how to develop a strategic and scalable digital strategy for B2B channels and must have a go-getter mindset and know-how to make it all happen.

Develop prioritization among product-level messages and drive integration of messages delivered by the field/inside sales team.

Utilize your deep understanding of digital advertising to define, plan, and build journeys to drive lead conversions.

Analyze web traffic metrics and suggest solutions to boost web presence based on these metrics.

Work closely with our marketing and development teams to gather, document, and manage requirements with a user-centered approach.

Develop a strong understanding of our customers and their attitudes and behaviors across platforms, channels, and activities to provide segmentation and personalization to the integrated marketing communications plans.

Develop and build detailed content journeys and trigger points for campaigns that align to the overall customer journey map delivering the right content to our customers at each stage in their decision journey.

Own channel reporting and present data in actionable way to clearly communicate results and challenges, and proactively come to the table with attribution and performance management.

Ensure compliance with internal standards, legal guidelines, and inbox deliverability health.

Influences across functions and businesses while balancing divergent objectives to gain cooperation of other parties.

Minimum Qualifications

In order to be considered for this position, these minimum qualifications must be evident on your resume.

5+ years of digital marketing experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years of digital marketing experience with a Masters’ degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, marketing strategies, email marketing or marketing automation experience, preferably with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Extensive digital marketing and communications experience; ideally at both an agency and client setting.

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, technology, and/or related field of study.

Experience with managing and editing photos and resources (e.g. Adobe, etc).

Understanding of analytics (e.g. Adobe, Google, etc).
