A law firm is seeking an IP Litigation Associate Attorney to join their Atlanta, GA office. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent interpersonal skills, and substantial experience in intellectual property litigation. A technical background, particularly an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, is strongly preferred. The position requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.Duties and Responsibilities:Represent clients in intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, and copyright disputes.Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on IP-related issues.Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Prepare and deliver oral arguments in court and at hearings.Develop and execute effective litigation strategies.Manage all phases of discovery, including document review and production.Interact with clients to provide legal counsel, updates, and strategic advice.Collaborate with other attorneys, experts, and legal professionals on complex IP cases.Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.Keep abreast of current developments in intellectual property law and litigation practices.Requirements:3-5 years of experience in intellectual property litigation.Excellent academic credentials.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.A technical background is strongly preferred; an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is highly desirable.Proven ability to handle complex IP litigation matters.Experience with patent, trademark, and copyright law.Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to the Bar and in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction.Skills:Expertise in intellectual property litigation and related legal practices.Strong analytical and legal research skills.Excellent drafting, writing, and oral communication skills.Technical proficiency, especially in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, is preferred.Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Proficiency with case management and legal research tools.Benefits Offered:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.Life and disability insurance.Paid time off and holidays.Company info
