Are you an experienced Senior Design Manager seeking a new role working on major commercial projects in Birmingham? This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading main contractor who is looking for a Senior Design Manager to work on a high-rise scheme in Birmingham worth 100 million and another scheme worth 80 million lasting at least 2 years.
The Role - Senior Design ManagerAs a Senior Design Manager, you will be a key part of the team and will report directly to the Project Director. You will be responsible for managing the design requirements for the role and will need to possess the ability to work autonomously and accountably.You will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate provision of design, design management, and resources during the build phase of the project.Duties & Responsibilities - Senior Design ManagerIdentify and collate the technical requirements of the project during the project start-up phase.Liaise with prospective designers to agree on resource, design programme, design deliverables, and milestones.Oversee the finalization and implementation of project-specific arrangements for management and delivery of Contractor's design.Requirements as a Senior Design ManagerHave a Design Management construction degree specifically.Have experience working on high-rise projects such as residential, student accommodation, hotels, etc.What's on Offer for the Senior Design ManagerBasic salary up to 80k.Pension.Discretionary bonus.Holiday + bank holidays.Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK.If you want to hear more about this Senior Design Manager role, please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV or contact Paul Reeves in our Birmingham office.
