Bachelor’s Degree; demonstrated proficiency/experience in technology integrationJob Description and Responsibilities:Overview - The Digital Navigator provides individualized or small group assistance to faculty and students who require coaching in introductory digital skills, curricular integration and general technology use.Responsibilities and DutiesAssess student/faculty use or access to technology and current digital skill levelsSet agreed upon goals for technology integration/use in the classroomTrack progress and types of requests, keep accurate and timely records, and report outcomes as required.Plan and manage assistance to staff/students with the goal of fulfilling the agreed goalsCritical Skills and AptitudesAbility to embrace the challenge of learning and teaching basic technological concepts related to internet services, computer and device characteristics, and common online services and applications.Excellent self-organization, language capacity, and cultural competency.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work with varied learning populations.Ability to demonstrate positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.Ability to creatively solve problems and negotiate and handle stressful situations in a positive manner.
