Provide primary direct behavioral health treatment services to community severely mentally ill clients. Services include mental health screening, crisis stabilization, individual/group/family counseling, culturally relevant assessment, treatment, and clinical case management.Responsibilities:Interview clients and family members; conduct initial and ongoing psychological strength-based assessments.Develop initial and ongoing treatment plans; identify and pursue necessary resources to implement plans.Provide crisis intervention as needed; stabilize clients in crisis including brief intervention in the clinic; arrange for hospitalization and coordinate treatment elements.Conduct examinations and formulate a diagnosis.Participate in clinical case presentations and peer reviews; take lead to coordinate with interdisciplinary team members regarding the client’s treatment progress and need for modification of service plan.Coordinate services with schools, county departments, community agencies and primary care clinics in coordinating referrals and ensuring continuity of care for clients.Document and maintain clinical records.Minimum Requirements:Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field. 1 year experience in Social work or related occupation. Valid license with the State of California Board of Behavioral Science in Social Work.Experience Requirements:Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Diagnosis with DSM-5, Treatment planning, Motivational Interviewing.Medical Documentation Skills.Knowledge of Bio-psycho-social assessment, suicidal assessment and treatment, domestic violence assessment and treatment.Location:

30% off site work at client’s home, school, or clinic in Alameda County.Salary:

$94,438.50 - $95,000 a year
