Job Summary

Review and evaluate customer correspondence for Replacement Assistance Plan and Surge Protection Plan claims to approve or deny based on Terms and Conditions. Process credit scores/reports for prospective sales customers. Communicate and negotiate in a customer sensitive way with a wide range of internal and external customers.

Essential Functions

THIS POSITION IS A HYBRID POSITION, WHICH ALLOWS YOU TO WORK SOME DAYS, REMOTE!Review and evaluate customer correspondence for Replacement Assistance Plan and Surge Protection claims and approve or deny claims based on Terms and Conditions.Respond to telephone calls from internal and external customers concerning Replacement Assistance Plan and Surge Protection qualifications for claim approval.Be the central point of contact and approver of claims providing consistent adherence to Terms and Conditions of the two plans.Customer escalation resolution.Send correspondence to customers whose claims are denied, are missing information, or have arrears to pay before reimbursement.Maintain records for all claims approved or denied.

Assist in new hire and refresher training for the sales channels.Review the terms and conditions on an on-going basis to assure they are updated with the most recent information.Track payouts by supervisor and technician and provide coaching when necessary.Provide training and support to employee groups who may need coaching regarding Replacement Assistance Plan Terms and Conditions.Coordination of file and record retention.Generate monthly reports.Help sales representatives and customers complete credit applications in accordance with the credit policy.Send correspondence to customers whose credit is denied.

Education Description

Requires high school education or the equivalent knowledge of English, basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and calculation of fractions and/or percentages), grammar, spelling and punctuation. Post-secondary coursework is a plus.

Experience

Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, including escalations.
