Woofie’s of Denver Foothills seeks an
Administrative and Marketing Assistant . The role will involve day-to-day customer service, job scheduling, and other admin tasks, and participation in marketing activities promoting the Woofie’s brand in the community.
Our local Woofie’s team is made up of passionate providers of personalized pet services. We take the time to get to know each client and pet so that we can provide them with outstanding and reliable care. Woofie’s also brings the comforts and amenities of an upscale grooming salon to the privacy and convenience of client homes.
The ideal candidate loves both pets and people, and enjoys interacting with both! This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to contribute to building a local franchise business, with the potential to advance into more advanced event planning, customer service, marketing, and/or pet sitter, dog bathing and groomer roles.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to any inquiries in a timely manner
Scheduling of new and current clients
Manage groomer and sitter schedules
Manage client files and update the information accordingly
Add appointment notes for groomers and sitters
Ensure all visits are assigned and completed
Manage email and lead correspondence, responding in a timely manner
Follow company procedures to organize messages
Be an emergency backup sitter!
Event Marketing Responsibilities:
Participate in set-up and tear-down of event tents, tables, etc.
Promote Woofie’s pet sitting, dog walking and Mobile Pet Spa services to potential customers at the event
Help manage the queue of dogs for any bathing, nail trimming, or other services being performed as part of the event by grooming staff
Contributions of event marketing ideas welcomed
Other Marketing Responsibilities:
Assist with the development and execution of a marketing plan
Development of prospective marketing opportunities and contacts
Help manage social media platforms, including posting regularly and responding to inquiries
Qualifications:
Reliable with positive energy
Have a love of animals/pets
Enjoy meeting with customers and promoting our pet services
1 to 3 yrs. of customer service experience
1 to 3 yrs. of data entry experience
Event marketing experience is desirable
Previous use of scheduling software desired, but not necessary
Detail-oriented for administrative tasks
Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
