Responsibilities

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policiesDirectly supervise all quarry employees

TrainingPlanning, assigning, and directing workPerformance appraisals and coachingEmployee recognition and disciplineAddressing complaints and problems

Create a safe worksiteRead and interpret blueprints and related documents as neededRecord daily events in a job diarySchedule materials, equipment, and work for crewAnalyze crew SIP’s to create site SIP’sObtain quantities from crews and prepare for billing process with PMAnalyze cost reports for production adjustmentsAccurately code and control onsite costsConduct site meetingsAttend E&S and Job Turnover meetingsCommunicate goals and purpose effectivelyDemonstrate by exampleInfluence and enforce company values

Recognize misalignments with company values and culture and ensure compliance

Understand and anticipate customers’ needsCommunicate with customer representatives and represent the company professionallyOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills, Education, and ExperienceAssociate degree from an accredited educational institution OR 5 years of related experience and/or training

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Able to read blueprints and job-related documentsUnderstand business practices within the organization and the importance of repeat businessBasic technololgy skills including internet, email, and digital photo documentationProficient verbal and written communication skillsLeadership and teamwork skillsSelf-motivated and organizedSafety-focusedAbility to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as neededAbility to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
