is currently seeking experienced and motivated Class A and B CDL drivers to become a part of our team. Our CDL drivers satisfy a critical role here at
H&K
. This position places an emphasis on reliability and attentiveness, as maintaining both a truck log and the trucks themselves are daily responsibilities that come along with the position.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform all work adhering to MSHA and H&K Safety policiesDrives truck to destinationPrepares receipts for load pick upMaintains truck log according to state and federal regulations and company policyMaintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructionsLoads and unloads truckInspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and waterPerforms daily pre and post trip of vehicleTarps all loads when public roadway travel is necessaryTrims all loads prior to tarping when necessaryOther duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills, Education, and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institutionClass A CDL with 1 year of commercial driving experience OR Class B CDL with 1 year of triaxle driving experienceClean driving recordCustomer Service and TeamworkStrong Verbal and written communication skillsAbility to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as neededAbility to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience3 years of commercial driving experienceStrong preference for 3 years of triaxle driving experienceTWIC card preferred with CDL class AHazmat and Tanker EndorsementExperience working in heavy civil construction, road construction, or quarriesMSHA, OSHA or other relevant safety certificationsPhysical DemandsFrequently required to sitUse hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and armsFrequently required to talk or hearOccasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsWork EnvironmentRegularly exposed to outside weather conditionsFrequently exposed to vibrationOccasionally exposed to moving mechanical partsNoise level is usually loudH&K Group, Inc.’s (H&K’s)
