OHSEPR is the emergency management lead for Administration for Children and Families within US Dept of Health and Human Services. These teams must be able to quickly respond to incidents in response to emergency situations.

Project Manager

in

Washington, DC

for this pending opportunity with ACF and HHS. The objective of this work is to provide support to all OHSEPR programs including the Disaster Human Services Case Management (DHSCM) program, US Repatriation Program, and COOP program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

:

Supporting and coordinating with OHSEPR leadership, PMs, and COR to complete assigned projects on time, within budget and scope.Overseeing all aspects of project/s including monitoring and summarizing the progress of each Contractor staff, tasks, and assignments.Working directly with OHSEPR Leadership, PMs, and COR to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.The development of a detailed PMP to monitor and track tasks and assignment progress.Assist federal PMs with measurable project objectives using appropriate tools and techniques.Prepare monthly project status reports for OHSEPR leadership, PMs, and COR.Work with OHSEPR leadership, PMs, and COR to identify, analyze and mitigate potential risks and contract issues.Create and maintain comprehensive, professional project documentation, spreadsheets, diagrams, databases, and processes.Manage the interaction and communications with Contractors and all ACF stakeholders.Provide cross-agency policy group support and planning support for all OHSEPR programs including:Develop annual project plans for divisions.Track & monitor progress for OHSEPR programs.Develop metrics and milestones for all OHSEPR programs.Plan and execute strategic initiatives in support of OHSEPR within Department and interagency activities.The Project Manager shall be always prepared to present and discuss the status of contract activities, requirements, and issues.

Basic Qualifications:

Master's or bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a business field (e.g., Program Management, Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, and Economics).Six (6) years of professional supervisory/management experience.Experience must be in program management (e.g., trend and forecast analysis, earned value management, cost benefit analysis, balanced scorecard, activity-based costing, life cycle cost estimating, activity-based budgeting, and gap analysis), personnel management, and project management (e.g., communications plan development, risk management, project management frameworks such as Agile, resource planning and management, conflict management and resolution).Demonstrated ability/experience in successfully developing, implementing, and managing complex, high profile, multi-faceted projects.Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.Demonstrated ability to organize and perform multiple tasks at the same time.Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
