to join our team and elevate our entertainment offerings to new heights.The

Director of Entertainment

will be responsible for overseeing all entertainment venues, booking and maintaining relationships with performing artists and talent agencies, and working cross-functionally with other departments to bring in and execute top-tier performances. This role requires a visionary leader who can create, plan, and execute a diverse range of entertainment programs that attract and engage our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in entertainment management, with a proven track record of success in the casino or entertainment industry.Key Responsibilities:Entertainment Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive entertainment strategy that aligns with the brand and goals, ensuring a mix of events that appeal to a broad audience.Event Planning & Execution: Plan, organize, and oversee live performances, shows, special events, and other entertainment activities. Ensure all events are executed flawlessly, meeting or exceeding guest expectations.Talent Management: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with entertainers, performers, and production companies. Ensure that all acts are of the highest quality and fit the casino’s brand.Budget Management: Develop and manage the entertainment budget, ensuring that all events are cost-effective and within budget. Monitor financial performance and adjust strategies as needed.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the entertainment team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. Foster a positive and creative work environment.Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to promote events and entertainment offerings. Develop promotional materials and strategies to maximize attendance and guest satisfaction.Guest Experience: Ensure that all entertainment offerings enhance the overall guest experience, contributing to high levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty.Compliance: Ensure all entertainment activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including licensing and safety requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in entertainment management, preferably within a casino or mid to large scale concert / entertainment venue.Proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale events and entertainment programs.Must have existing relationships with talent agencies and A-list performers.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and maximizing ROI.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.Why Join Us?Be part of a dynamic and innovative team at a leading entertainment destination.Opportunity to shape and elevate the entertainment offerings.Competitive salary.Top-shelf medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits.Interested candidates are invited to apply online or email your résumé to kevin@harperjobs.com for consideration.
