Junior Toxic Tort Associate Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Junior Toxic Tort Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of asbestos or toxic tort litigation experience and possess a Juris Doctor degree from a top law school. This role involves taking and defending expert and witness depositions, drafting litigation documents, developing client relationships, and preparing for trial.Duties:Take and defend expert and witness depositionsDraft original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex mattersDraft discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various partiesDevelop client relationships through oral and written communicationPrepare for trial including motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness listsRequirements:Juris Doctor degree from a top law schoolLicensed to practice law in California2+ years of asbestos or toxic tort litigation experienceExperience in a billable work environmentSelf-motivated individual with high energy willing to meet deadlinesSuperior written and oral communication skills with attention to detailEducation:Juris Doctor degree from a top law schoolSkills:Proficient in drafting legal documentsAbility to conduct legal research efficientlyExcellent interpersonal skills for client interactionDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
