Do you love to write or have a flair for design? Are you up to date on the latest social media trends—or maybe an aspiring influencer yourself? Do you enjoy researching new topics and solving problems? Can you convince us to launch a Qorvis TikTok?We’re seeking an intern in the Washington D.C. office to assist with content and marketing for clients and internal operations. You’ll support both the Qorvis executive team with marketing and business development and international clients across the energy, technology, and finance sectors.Qorvis interns work closely with agency principals and gain hands-on experience in managing and executing deliverables for high-profile clients who are frequently in the news—and members of our Summer ’24 intern class traveled for clients to Brussels, Dubai, and even Hawaii! Qorvis interns have gone on to high-profile careers in media, politics, public affairs—and even executive-level roles at Qorvis.Responsibilities:Internal Content:
Support internal marketing efforts with content development, including writing, research, and basic graphic design.Client Content:
Support the creation of media clips, reports, social media content, and other written and graphic products for clients in sectors including energy, commodities, healthcare, and technology.Social Media Management:
Assist with managing social media accounts, including editorial calendars, scheduling, and engagement strategies.Research and Analysis:
Conduct research to provide insights on industry trends, content effectiveness, and social media performance, as well as research for internal and external products and proposals.Desired
Qualifications:Undergraduate or graduate student or recent graduate in the Washington D.C. area with a strong interest or experience in content creation, writing, social media, marketing, or business development.The ideal candidate will have some experience in journalism, content, or marketing (e.g., school newspaper, previous internship) or proven proficiency in social media platforms/tools.Experience with Canva, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Meltwater, Microsoft Teams/SharePoint, Salesforce or similar CRM, Adobe InDesign or Photoshop, and/or WordPress would be a plus (but not necessarily required).Location & Availability:Must be available to work
at least 15 hours per week in person in the Washington D.C. office
during normal business hours (generally 8 AM to 6 PM ET).Flexibility regarding specific days and times is possible; however, availability for global staff calls at least a few days a week at 9 AM ET (10 AM ET on Fridays) is important.We pay interns a competitive hourly rate and provide access to our facilities in the National Press Building, including the National Press Club and the fitness center.To Apply:
