Pilbara WA RegionAbout the role:Provide support to Maintenance Team, including but not limited to:Stores Assistance:
Support store operations through inventory management, stock organization, and customer service.Delivery and Pickup:
Conduct delivery and pickup runs to Port Hedland, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of goods.Housekeeping:
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the workshop and surrounding areas, ensuring a safe and tidy working environment.Forklift Operation:
Operate forklift around the workshop area to assist with moving and organizing materials.Maintenance Support:
Assist the maintenance department in preparing for various work tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.What we are looking for:Valid HR Manual Driver's Licence.Valid LF - Forklift Licence.Demonstrated experience as a Trade Assistant within the mining sector.Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of machine parts.Previous exposure working within the stores and workshop departments.Aptitude for learning and utilizing hand and power tools.Understanding of safe lifting techniques.Ability to support mechanical fitters as needed.Complete tasks to the high level of safety that is required across the business.Ability to pass pre-employment medical.What SMS can offer:At SMS we pride ourselves on our positive work culture and ability to deliver desired results.Health:
