Join us at Jefferson Consulting Group, where your career becomes a journey of continuous advancement, and your talents find the platform they deserve.Responsibilities:Assists with the negotiation, award, and administration of discretionary Federal assistance agreements (grants and cooperative agreements) for a wide range of programs.Supervises and oversees two grants management specialists.Assists with pre-award functions such as drafting Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs), budget analysis, evaluation, risk assessments, and negotiation of terms and conditions for Federal assistance awards in accordance with 2 CFR Part 200.Applies skills and knowledge related to grants management policies, procedures, and regulations as defined by laws, rules, policies, procedures, and methods governing the administration of Federal grants, cooperative agreements, and awards.Processes a full range of grant/cooperative agreement applications used to determine the selection of grant/cooperative agreement awards. Reviews grant/cooperative agreement applications for clarity and completeness.Monitors recipient performance.Provides guidance to program office personnel and assigned grant recipients, sub-recipients, and other stakeholders on matters related to grant management to ensure efficient administration.Engages in periodic review meetings and on-site visits to grant recipient locations/facilities to examine grantee progress and reports, follow-ups on refinements, and provides redirection, as necessary.Evaluates recipients' disbursement requests and recommends approval or disapproval, using fact finding and analytical techniques and methods used to gather, evaluate, and summarize information and draw conclusions.Initiates and processes the timely closeout of grants and cooperative agreements in accordance with applicable guidance and regulations.Grants Management Training and Technical Assistance, which can include:

Quarterly workshops and webinarsDaily one-on-one coaching with various recipients, and other forms of training and communications important to achieving grant outcomes.

Provide expertise to guide staff who will be providing professional Grants Management services to support the ACF grant portfolio. This includes overseeing team members who will be supporting:

Budgetary and financial analysis of funding applications.Review and analysis of recipient financial reports, information, and indicators.Provision of accurate and timely regulatory and fiscal policy guidance to recipients.Review and analysis of recipient waiver requests.Identification and recommended mitigation of recipient risk factors.Identification and recommended action needed for regulatory compliance issues.Improve recipient utilization of grant funds to most effectively realize the grant's intended purpose.Assisting Federal staff with conducting Enhanced Financial Reviews.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree10 years of experience in grants management
