Job DescriptionJefferson is seeking a Project Director for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Administration for Children and Families (ACF) opportunity focused on grants management. The Project Director is a resourceful, detail-oriented, and collaborative team member with excellent client and people management skills. Their primary role is to assist with grants management services, including training and technical assistance to ACF's grant recipients.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary Contractor liaison with the Contracting Officer's Representative (TOCOR) as it relates to all aspects of the Contractor's responsibilities under this contract.

Provide overall team management, guidance, direction, and administrative and technical support to the contract.

Directly supervise the work of assigned resources.

Serve as the primary point-of-contact for the project internal to Jefferson, including coordinating resources, subcontractors, human resources, invoicing, and operations.

Provide expertise to guide staff who will be providing Professional Grants Management services to support the ACF grant portfolio.

Oversee budgetary and financial analysis of funding applications.

Review and analyze recipient financial reports, information, and indicators.

Provide accurate and timely regulatory and fiscal policy guidance to recipients.

Review and analyze recipient waiver requests.

Identify and recommend mitigation of recipient risk factors.

Identify and recommend action needed for regulatory compliance issues.

Improve recipient utilization of grant funds to most effectively realize the grant's intended purpose.

Assist Federal staff with conducting Enhanced Financial Reviews.

Provide financial reporting assistance guidance.

Oversee the collecting, aggregating, entering, and updating data maintained in existing government databases, spreadsheets, and internet-based applications including GrantSolutions.

Provide grants management training and technical assistance (T&TA) to enhance the knowledge and skills of grant recipients.

Utilize human-centered design methodologies to ensure that technical assistance is recipient-focused and aligned with their needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

10 years of experience in grants management.

Experience in managing federal contracts.

Ability to pass a Government background check.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, team management skills, leadership, and decision-making skills.
