ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Compensation Manager to lead our global compensation strategy and programs. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing compensation strategies that attract and retain top talent, align with the company's objectives, and ensure fair pay practices worldwide. This position will report directly to the VP, Total Rewards & HR Operations and will play a critical role in shaping our compensation programs to drive our business forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Further develop, evolve, implement, and manage a comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and ensures competitive and fair compensation practices

Oversees all aspects of compensation programs, including salary structures, bonus plans, equity awards, and other incentives

Identify and operationalize process automation opportunities to drive continued improvement in employee experience and internal efficiency, including regular processes such as promotions and bonus program administration

Conduct regular market research and analysis to stay up to date with industry compensation trends and to ensure OneStream's ability to attract and retain top talent in the industry

Engage with third party advisors, such as Compensia and Radford, when required

Actively participate in compensation forums and networking groups to utilize new benchmarking and strategy opportunities

Partner with Legal team to ensure that all compensation practices adhere to local and international labor laws, regulations, and governance requirements

Manage ongoing employee compensation programs such as variable bonus, annual market review including promotion and equity refresh cycle

Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of compensation programs and identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports for senior management on key metrics, trends, and insights

Develop and implement effective communication strategies to educate employees about their compensation to ensure transparency and understanding

Work closely with Finance, Stock Administration, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, People Business Partners, Marketing, Internal Communications, and others to drive compensation strategy

Influence leaders and lead change initiatives related to compensation programs, such as organizational restructurings or changes in business strategy. Ensure a smooth transition for employees and alignment with the organization's overall vision

Build trusting relationships with teammates, leaders, and employees. Collaborate on key initiatives, driving high performance and meaningful programs for the business

Other ad hoc duties as assigned by leadership

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Ideal Knowledge and Experience

A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

6+ years' experience within HR with expertise in strategic compensation

Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation is critical for this role, as it involves making data-driven decisions regarding compensation and rewards programs

Ability to analyze complex problems and draw conclusions from data

Strong understanding of global compensation principles, regulations, and market trends

Takes initiative and uses good judgment; excellent follow-up skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effectively communicating compensation programs to employees, senior leadership, and internal partners

The ability to think strategically and align compensation programs with business objectives is essential for success in this role

Familiarity with industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices is important for designing competitive and innovative rewards programs

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice

Recognizes confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information and maintains confidentiality

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
