As a Product Support Engineer, you will provide deep technical support to the Software Engineers, System Administrators, and Business Analysts who use our Research Suite software. This includes supporting Huron’s software through remote web session utilities, phone calls, and email communications. In addition, your day to day could include the following:Assisting with researching, analyzing, and resolving client reported issues;Identifying product areas causing the most support burden and working with the Huron Engineering teams to fix issues;Consulting with clients and Huron Services teams on proper hardware and software configurations;Continually improving internal support processes through development of new tools and job aids;Assisting with 24/7 on-call support coverage as needed.You’ll be part of Huron Digital for Higher Education & Research with opportunities to collaborate, learn, and grow while impacting some of the most prestigious higher education and research institutions in the US and Canada.Qualifications

Required:

U.S. work authorization is requiredBachelor’s Degree in a computer science related field or equivalent work experience1-3 years of experience working in a customer or internal software support positionExperience reading and writing object oriented code, HTML, CSS, XML, & JSONExperience supporting enterprise class, multi-tier web applicationsExperience with Microsoft software, including Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, Visual StudioAbility to work independently and in remote team environmentsThis position is remote, no travel requiredOccasional off-hours, on-call support shiftsPreferred:

Experience developing with JavaScriptAnalyze and interpret various types of logs, such as IIS, SMTP, Event Logs, and custom outputFamiliarity with .NET and C#Familiarity with source control conceptsStrong written and verbal skillsThe estimated base salary for this job is $60,000 - $80,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $64,800 - $89,600. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
