Broker dealer client is seeking an experienced Contracts and Legal Counsel to join their legal team.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, negotiate, review, and manage a variety of contracts, including corporate agreements, commercial contracts, and vendor agreements.Maintain, structure, update, and manage contract templates.Provide advice and counsel on structuring, drafting, negotiating, and interpreting contracts and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.Offer risk-based and business-minded legal advice to clients across various subject matters and issues.Provide day-to-day legal advice and counsel to business teams on a variety of matters.Work directly with business clients to develop an in-depth understanding of business unit activities and products.Support transactional and corporate aspects of the firm's broker-dealer, investment advisory, and futures commission merchant activities.Play a role in ensuring the company's compliance with U.S. laws.Minimum Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the state bar and in good standing.Minimum of 4 years of experience in contract law, corporate law, or a related field.Base Salary - $180,000-$220,000 depending on experience
