Duties include but are not limited to:Legal researchDrafting pleadingsTaking and defending depositionsDrafting and answering discoveryClass motions and discoveryPreparing cases for trialAssisting with trial
Ideal candidate must have:Very strong understanding and competency of State and Federal court rules and proceduresKnowledge of CAFA, BIPA, and other data privacy lawsOrganizational skills to manage a varied caseloadStrong writing skills to communicate effectively to the court, client, and opposing counsel
Juris doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and Bar admission in the State of Illinois is required. The Chicago office represents clients around the country, and bar admissions to multiple states would be considered during hiring.
