JOB SUMMARY:

Key position within the company’s finance and accounting organization, providing ongoing financial reporting support.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.MONTHLY CLOSE – Assisting with preparing and coordinating the month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial closing.FINANCIAL STATEMENT PREPARATION – Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including but not limited to: Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Equity Statement and Cash Flow Statement.OTHER FINANCIAL PRESENTATION - Responsible for calculation of equity shift related to the non-controlling interest. Prepares earnings per share and weighted average shares outstanding calculations on a quarterly basis.PUBLIC COMPANY COMPLIANCE REPORTING – Coordinating the external reporting requirements with the Securities and Exchange Commission.MANAGEMENT & BOARD REPORTING – Assist with preparing monthly management packages and Board reports.ACCOUNTING RESEARCH - Researching accounting topics to ensure the Company’s compliance with US generally accepted accounting principles.AUDIT LIAISON - Coordinate the annual audits and quarterly reviews with the external auditors, preparing the Company’s responses pertaining to materials to be included in the audit work papers, and acting as a liaison between the auditors and Company personnel.POLICIES & PROCEDURES – Develop and implement new accounting and reporting processes and procedures, and ensure key policies and procedures are documented and/or followed to satisfy internal controls and audit requirements.PROCESS IMPROVEMENT - Identify areas in need of improvement in financial accounting applications and operational procedures and effectively communicate these value-added solutions both orally and in writing to senior department and operational finance personnel.MANAGERIAL & SUPERVISORY – Supervising Senior Accountant, while working closely with the Corporate Controller and other functional leaders to ensure completeness and accuracy in all elements of financial reporting.EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year college or university.5+ years’ experience in Accounting and Financial Reporting, including relevant SEC reporting experience.Experience in the energy industry, including oilfield services.Experience in a multi-location manufacturing environment and international accounting/reporting.CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

CPA or equivalent preferred.JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:In-depth knowledge and use of GAAP; Auditing Practices and Principles; and Financial and Accounting Software Applications.Prior experience with public company SEC filing/compliance requirements.Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations.Experience with consolidation software preferred (Hyperion or OneStream).Experience with Workiva and XBRL.Specialized (Advanced) Computer Skills: Intermediate MS Office proficiency, especially Excel (including charts, pivot/lookup tables).Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.Ability to travel.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
