Additionally, this position will gain tax research and planning experience working on various tax projects and assist with IRS and state audit defense.Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of the federal consolidated tax returnPrepare federal and state partnership and LLC tax returnsPrepare and review multistate income and franchise tax returns (combined/unitary as well as separate state income tax returns)Assist with the preparation and review of the Company’s consolidated quarterly and annual income tax provision calculationsAssist with IRS and state tax authority auditsAssist with the preparation and review of quarterly estimated income tax paymentsPerform tax research and analysis on special projects as neededIdentify and implement federal and state tax planning opportunitiesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of diverse US federal and state & local tax legislation and US GAAP financial statement reporting requirements for taxes (ASC 740)Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in AccountingCPA (or CPA candidate) preferredOne to four years of Federal and state income tax compliance experience obtained in a public accounting or corporate environmentHands-on, detail-oriented individual, strong tax compliance and problem-solving skills, including account reconciliation and analysis of book/tax differencesStrong work ethic and sense of responsibilitySelf-motivated with a value-added focusProactive and efficientTeam player that works well with othersStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint required), tax research software, and tax compliance software; JD Edwards and Corptax experience a plusExcellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skillsPosition requires reliable, consistent, and punctual attendanceIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
