Your experience in these areas will help the world’s leading hedge fund and trading firms identify market opportunities. The work will span machine learning, AI, natural language processing, optimization, and more. You’ll have the opportunity to create novel predictive models and collaborate with teams across the firm to drive company wide initiatives. We will review your profile and share the roles we think are a strong fit with your background.RequirementsA Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. (preferred) degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or similar STEM disciplines.Extensive experience as a research scientist working on developing novel techniques in machine learning, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, deep learning, neural networks, GANs, or other related areas.

Proficiency in advanced mathematical and statistical analysis, algorithms, and optimization techniques.

Strong programming abilities in Python, C++, Java, or other.Proficiency in data analysis and data manipulation. Experience with SQL, Pandas, NumPy, or other data analysis libraries.Strong analytical skills with the ability to formulate and solve complex problems, think critically, and make data-driven decisions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively convey complex ideas.Posses the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Ability to set your own research agenda, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Demonstrated track record of accomplishments in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence, such as first author publications, projects, or presentations at leading academic and industry conferences (ICML, ICLR, NeurIPs, etc).

In accordance with New York City’s Pay Transparency Law, the typical base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $300,000. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental, and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonuses can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
