In Office Your Responsibilities

As an Associate Producer, you will act as an intermediary between insurance companies and clients. You will acquire new business for a growing firm with an emphasis on client relations, service, and teamwork. You will build relationships with new clients, learn their business deeply and become a trusted advisor. You will also work directly with knowledgeable account teams to support the growth of your own book of business. You are a strategic business advisor to executives, risk managers and HR leaders; Associate Producers are consultative sales professionals who work only for their client and coordinate services and products across many companies to get them the most appropriate coverage. Commercial insurance deals with complex, high-value insurance programs for a wide variety of industries and company types. No two clients are the same, and the types of coverage they need vary greatly, making commercial insurance a meaningful, evolving, and dynamic field. The ability to produce stellar revenue numbers is just one piece of the equation. At Lockton, culture matters. You will build and work a business plan, including market strategies and financial targets. You will acquire and develop new business by gaining access to decision-makers, making highly impactful presentations, and closing the deal. You will strive to understand the client’s business and how Lockton provides customer value through service and solutions. You will lead client relationships and oversee service delivery throughout the life of Lockton’s relationship with clients. You will work closely with account teams to ensure clients are receiving the best advice and coverage based on business objectives and company goals. You will build and maintain current knowledge of relative property and casualty, employee benefits, and other insurance products and services through networking and participating in professional development activities. Qualifications

Proven excellence in a B2B sales role, preferably in an industry with a long sales cycle. Strong communication skills, including verbal and written. Excellent relationship building and management skills. Competitive differentiation and drive to be successful in life and business. Desire to develop personally and professionally. Accountable, diplomatic, tactful, and honest. Maintain a high level of business acumen and insurance industry professionalism.
