RESPONSIBILITIESServe as an integral member of the executive leadership team.Igniting cultures of success and transforming the way the world views aging.Improving the performance of communities through efficient effective programs, policies, procedures and leadership.Develop and sustain a region-wide culture of teamwork, professionalism, mutual respect, continuous quality improvement and accountability.Articulate a vision, create consensus and motivate people to build a sense of community.Recruit, develop, mentor, motivate and retain world-class Executive Directors.Assess the current state of operations in the region and collaborate with community Executive Directors and other Regionals to implement and improve processes and programming.
CANDIDATEThe candidate will be a competent, compassionate and committed professional who is willing to enter into a long-term commitment of service to the company.Planning and organizational skills and ability to collaborate with all styles of individuals and to communicate effectively.The management role is all about removing roadblocks from the paths of employees in order to help them succeed.The new SDO will leave their ego at the door and thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative, servant-leadership environment.A person of high integrity and ethical standards with a personal reputation that will reflect well on the organization.Enjoys working with servant leaders and like-minded people with strong work ethics.Will exhibit a high standard of care and concern for current and future residents.As a relationship-oriented person, the Regional Director of Operations will be an excellent communicator and will maintain a visible presence among staff, residents, and clients and within the surrounding community.
REQUIREMENTSB.S. degree / Masters Preferred.At least three to five years’ experience in senior living operations as an Executive Director, multi-site management experience, with a proven track record of meeting key performance goals.Must demonstrate a warm, outgoing, and compassionate personality.Must also demonstrate integrity, maturity, and leadership skills.
