Our pipeline is promising with several Phase 3 assets in the Oncology space.Role SummaryThe FP&A Manager is responsible for supporting the organization’s financial planning and analysis processes professionally and knowledgeably, with a focus on data integrity, reporting and process enhancement, as well as regularly interfacing with business partners. The FP&A Manager will need to be a highly collaborative individual who is comfortable with transparent communication and building strong relationships with functional partners. The FP&A Manager will report directly to the Director of FP&A and will work closely with US Finance and Accounting colleagues, Global finance team members, human resources, and functional budget owners such as legal compliance, finance, IT, communications, facilities, Office of the CEO. Maintain understanding of Cost Center structures, General Ledger accounts and linkages to FP&A / management control systems & processes; Identify areas for improvement.Work with the business to ensure proper coding of requisitions and POs, adherence to company terms and conditions, monthly review of the Open PO report, and prepare necessary journal entries to ensure proper recording of all current liabilities.Review accounting transactions for data accuracy; liaise directly with accounting during pre- and post-month-end close meetings to ensure reporting accuracy.Coordinate with the FP&A Leads, cost center owners, and CFO on Budgets, Forecasts and long-term financial planning for Opex, Capex and Cash Flow.Assist in preparing allocation schemes for planning cycles, document process flows, and continuous process improvement.Support monthly P&L review process by reviewing actual results versus budget and forecast, assisting in the preparation of monthly variance reports for executive leaders and analyzing key performance drivers.Review trends to identify, communicate, and act on key business opportunities.Meet and present regularly to leadership team members to support and answer questions related to financial planning and analysis processes.Proactively identify potential data and analytical needs of internal customers to overall business objectives.Maintain detailed tracking of headcount, including ensuring that resources are approved, funded, and assigned to the correct budgets.Manage travel reporting and analytics.Own day to day responsibility for Finance basic reporting processes and systems across the enterprise using Workday Adaptive and Power BI.Help prepare monthly business unit consolidation reports and KPIs.Manage Servier Group reporting for the US (consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and actuals) within the local and Global systems.Utilize additional data sources and associated reporting (PowerBI, HFM, Polaris).Assist in formulating, creating and tracking KPIs, including establishing automated reporting/dashboarding for real-time insights.Supports intercompany transactions, incl. allocations and related process flows and documentation.Supports implementation of future ERP and other accounting and/or reporting tools.Education and Required SkillsBS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent experience and 4+ years of professional working experience and 2+ years actively working in FP&A role.Thorough knowledge of IFRS accounting is a plus.Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry desired.Proficient with Adaptive Insights, Power BI, NetSuite, Visual Basics for Application (VBA), and or Python in excel is a plus.Proficient with MS Office. Advanced Excel experience required (e.g. macros, v-lookups & pivot tables).Has solid understanding of Cost Center structures, General Ledger accounts and linkages to FP&A / management control systems & processes.Strong general Math skills, analytical skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.Financial planning, reporting and modelling experience required.Must demonstrate the ability to provide customer-oriented services, proficiency and expertise in simplifying and explaining finance-related policies and procedures.Ability to manage competing priorities and drive projects forward independently.Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.Objective, organized, self-starter, performance-oriented.High sense of urgency, work ethic, and must be flexible.Strong oral and written presentation skills and executive presence.Ability to lead and/or participate in special projects or tasks as they arise, including systems support.Versatile in cloud-based systems and applications.Uses multiple automated systems (Bill.com, Concur, Travel, Corporate Credit Cards, NetSuite, Servier internal consolidation and reporting tools), including electronic registrations and workflows.Supports implementation of future ERP and other reporting tools.General Ledger reconciliations.Team player that supports Finance in P2P, O2C, R2R processes and acts as integrator.Servier’s CommitmentWe’re an organization, committed to modelling diversity, equity, and inclusion for the entire industry, and to maintaining an inclusive environment with equitable treatment for all.
