Litigation & Employment Counsel

to join our rapidly-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science and machine learning.What You’ll Do:

Manage disputes concerning unauthorized use of the company’s software and intellectual property;Monitor contract performance and compliance;Manage contract and copyright disputes and resolutions;Collaborate effectively with go-to-market teams to identify and deliver on opportunities to resolve licensing disputes in connection with commercial agreements;Provide advice and counsel to management and HR teams on employment-related legal issues including employee relations, wage and hour compliance, leaves, benefits, discipline, terminations, and internal investigations;Efficiently manage outside counsel on litigation and employment matters;What You Need:

Law degree from an ABA-accredited institution and an active license to practice law.5+ years of relevant law firm or in-house experience managing commercial disputes in the technology industry;Direct experience negotiating and securing settlement agreements with opposing business stakeholders, in-house counsel, and outside legal counsel;Superior oral advocacy skills and comfort participating in verbal negotiations;A bias toward action and an ability to work in a fast-paced result-driven environment;Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex legal documents and identifying potential strengths, risks, and liabilities;Familiarity with key employment laws and regulations, including the FLSA, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, NLRA, Title VII, etc.;Experience delivering practical, actionable legal advice to business stakeholders on a range of employment matters;Attention to detail and the ability to multitask, remain flexible, proactive, and resourceful and perform at a high level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;Team attitude: “I am not done until WE are done”.What Will Make You Stand Out:
