The VP, Digital Optimization will be a leader that collaborates cross-functionally and at all levels to craft the digital vision, practices, and processes. They lead the broader team in execution, setting the digital strategy, driving alignment, accountability, financial performance, and business growth. This leader will optimize Liberty’s digital presence across all key channels.RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategic Leadership:Leads transformation to digitize traditional business practices

Supports the development of Liberty’s over-arching go-to-market strategy in collaboration with sales and marketing

Ensures cross-functional alignment at the highest level of sales, marketing, IT, logistics and balance of organization

Contribute to development and achievement of Annual Operation Plan and Long Range Plan targets and plans

eBusiness Growth:Defines digital success for Liberty, implementing and managing through KPIs

Ensures scalable growth of the eBusiness organization and capabilities as eBusiness grows

Conducts digital trends assessment and adapts strategy and tactics accordingly

Leverage internal and external data to tailor growth strategies specific to our customers’ and consumers’ needs

Scopes the long-term opportunity, building out a short/long-term roadmap of activities and capabilities that are additive and appropriate to Liberty’s business model

Performance & Omni-Channel Marketing:Oversee the optimization of all digital channels ensuring a seamless and engaging consumer experience

Develops a full funnel digital marketing strategy to support growth, and revenue objectives to include but not limited to SEO SEM and social media marketing

Develop and manages budget for digital marketing and ecommerce initiatives to ensure return on investment aligns to company and industry standards

Develops strategies to enhance digital user experience and improve conversion rates.

Works collaboratively with marketing team to ensure consistency in brand experience across touchpoints

Develops an internal capability to manage a holistic omni-channel shopping experience –

capability build

In coordination with the VP of Corp Marketing, develops an integrated communication plan across multiple digital touchpoints (including but not limited to customer websites, owned website, social media and paid advertising)

Digital Operations Effectiveness:Manages overall strategy and MarTech stack for how we represent and connect our product portfolio to digital channels

Provides thought leadership regarding Data Governance requirements and capability building in collaboration with IT leadership

Partners with IT for digital roadmap development and execution related to people, processes and systems

Team Leadership:Leads a team dedicated to supporting Liberty Hardware growth by building an enterprise-wide digital culture and capability and embeds a broad-based organizational understanding of digital trends

Develop, coach and mentor a team capable of carrying out operating strategies

Manage in a way that supports Liberty Hardware’s positioning statement, values, goals and objectives

Demonstrate a Continuous Improvement mindset – through participation in events and activities that lead to financial gain, time savings, and/or waste reduction for the business

QUALIFICATIONS:The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university (advanced degree preferred but not required)

10+ years of experience driving strategy around digital / eBusiness channels and collaborating cross-functionally within a complex business

Demonstrated success building and executing both long-term and short-term growth roadmaps

Experience working closely with big box retailers is preferred

5+ years in a leadership role with similar responsibilities
