OverviewGreen Bay Area Catholic Education, Inc.- GRACE is seeking an Executive Director of Learning to join our leadership team. The Executive Director of Learning will provide leadership and guidance to the GRACE school system by ensuring measurable academic improvement, providing professional development and leadership with our principals, teachers, student services and curriculum. All responsibilities will be in coordination with the President.

Essential Functions:

Educational Leadership

Supervise and support Principals

Create programs that support, standardized and streamline educational processes

Coordinating with Principals, assess Professional Development opportunities for teachers

Supervise and Evaluate Director of Student Services and Director of Curriculum along with Team Curriculum

Support PLC strategy, as it relates to teaching and learning throughout GRACE

Serve as the GRACE’s new Teacher, student teacher placements and new teacher mentor contact

Coordinate Teacher Mentors for all new to the profession teachers, on an Initial License, new to GRACE

Provide training to all new teachers at GRACE in Year 1 and Year 2 of their Initial License

Oversee Mentor training to all Mentors assigned to new to the profession teachers in the district

Coordinate and submit data for WRISA accreditation and supervise WRISA team

Coordinate and communicate expectations for measuring effective teaching

Coordinate data analysis along with principal and curriculum team

Assist in coordinating trainings for building and district staff to strengthen school improvement efforts and processes

Participate in School Improvement process and practices and its related professional development

Assist with required federal, state and district reporting

Coordinate and assist with planning and delivering district and building professional development activities to staff with Director of Curriculum and Director of Student Services

Coordinate and plan, with the Curriculum Facilitators and Instructional Coaches, professional development for essential learnings, curriculum, instruction and assessment, instructional practices, and ongoing curriculum resource implementation support

Leadership Team and Board

Participates actively in leadership team meetings to strategize and position the organization for the future.

Member of the President’s Cabinet

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Professional Administrator License

Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience

Previous supervisory and/or administrative experience

Knowledge of current and best practices in the assigned areas, including curriculum, instruction and assessment

Knowledge of the mission of Catholic education and the ability to deploy instructional best practices that support our mission

Ability to utilize, analyze and interpret data for decision making

Communicates effectively, proactively, and respectfully with teachers, staff, parents, and other stakeholders

Ability to work collaboratively with other district administrators and faculty to move the school district forward

Works to support the GRACE mission and core values while demonstrating integrity, accountability, sincerity, patience, flexibility and humility

Ability to coach and lead professional development

Exceptional writing, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills

Performs other duties as assigned by the President

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, sit, and frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk. The employee will use the hands feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally exert or lift up to 20 pounds. Successful performance requires specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.

$60,449.00 - $69,150.00 per year
